I currently have over 15K in credit card charges from various cards (4) and they are real bear to get the charges down. I always pay on time and even more than the minimum down, but it seems like they never go. My question is that did anyone here reading this one use of these credit card relief or debt consolidation companies and they were successful? I realize there are some costs with some of them for “fees”, but overall what is the success rate. I can pay this pulling a 401k loan for a complete payoff, but would rather not touch this. Please let me know of any of your success stories or complete failures that you may have had. Thanks Karl.

When our Government & Private lenders gave amnesty and billions in debt RELIF dollars for the so called theird world and poor countries around the world, why not we get credit card Debt Relief‘s here in America. After all, are not we the only one who are not paying tax for our government but who are so codemn pay19 to-21% interest for those greedy credit card companies. May be we have to sign & send Petion for our senators & congress to ask them on behalf of their citizen. But why the American government & corpoarate are hard to their own tax payer citizen than outsiders. The recent Bush’s immigration bill supported by the American corporation is a good example.

This of course, does not include the late fee and the penality for not paying. For example, Citibank has an asset of # 60 trillions from the profit they get from us. Bank of America has the same profit while we the poor and middle class are becoming poor. Is there a government who is protecting its working and middle class from rip off to death by those greedy credit card companies and Banks? Do you think we have to do something about it?
